Let a shape catch your attention
Watch the water curl around a stone. Trace a branch with your eyes. Notice how a path disappears and returns. A shape can invite a question before it offers any answer.
The pleasure is partly in the looking. You may find a curve in a garden, a line in a drawing or a rhythm in a story that reminds you of something elsewhere. That resemblance can be the beginning of an artwork, a question or a conversation.
A different kind of deeper
This room opens towards Secret Life of Earth and its Secret Energy material: imaginative interpretations of nature, spirals and the cosmos. These works can be explored as speculative ideas and visual storytelling. Their claims about hidden energies are not established scientific explanations, and the material is not presented as a Japanese religious teaching.
You can enjoy the sense of wonder while keeping your questions open. What can I see? What am I imagining? What would I need to know to explain it? Each question leads somewhere slightly different.
Bring it back to the garden
Look again at the water. You do not need a theory of everything to find it absorbing. Let an ordinary detail hold your attention. If it starts a story in your mind, enjoy the story—and recognise the imagination that helped create it.

TAKE IT WITH YOU
Make room for wonder, careful observation and imagination, each in its own way.
