The room, the beds and the people
Confirm the room category, floor space, bed sizes and maximum occupancy. “Two sharing” means two travellers in one private room; it does not automatically mean twin beds. Check connecting rooms directly if they matter.
Meals, baths and what is included
Breakfast and dinner belong to the rate plan, not just the hotel name. At a ryokan, check dinner time and bathing arrangements. A private room may have shared bathing; a public bath is not necessarily a natural onsen.
The journey from the station
Check the right station exit, the walking route with luggage, steps, lifts and any shuttle reservation. For an airport stay, match the hotel access to your actual terminal and departure time.
Access that works for you
Ask for specific information: step-free entrance, lift access, doorway widths, bathroom layout and bed height. A traditional house or temple may have stairs, futons and shared facilities. Confirm your needs directly.

The opening, value and coastal-room artwork comes from Steve’s Fumi Hotels editorial collection. These are original AI-generated illustrations of imagined properties, not photographs of any named hotel. Property cards use the existing photographs credited below; photographs may show a particular room or facility that is not included in every rate.
