Four scenic illustrations were created for this collection using OpenAI image generation on 5 October 2026: a coastal railway, a northern port canal, a winter outdoor bath and a harbour city. They are imagined travel-poster scenes, not documentary photographs or depictions of named hotels. WebP versions are hosted with the site.
The route schematics on this site are original editorial drawings. They show sequence and connections, not geographic scale, tracks or station layouts. Commercial railway diagrams have not been republished. Official maps are linked on the relevant guide pages.
Travel guidance draws on operator information and the current Japan trip-planning research. Review dates describe editorial checks, not a guarantee about a future service.
