Garden mornings
Make the hotel garden part of the Tokyo stay, rather than treating the room as somewhere to sleep.

Luxury · 14 nights
Tokyo gardens, Fukuoka flavours and Kobe’s harbour lights.
The idea behind the journey
A city journey with room to enjoy the hotels as well as the destinations. Begin among the gardens of Takanawa, fly west for Fukuoka’s food culture, pause beside Kobe’s waterfront, then return to Tokyo for a grand finale. Four substantial stays turn the flights into useful links between quite different city experiences.
Follow the journey
Make the hotel garden part of the Tokyo stay, rather than treating the room as somewhere to sleep.
Spend time in Hakata and Tenjin, then choose a meal by curiosity rather than a checklist.
The opening Shinagawa-area stay and the final Hibiya-area stay give the same city a different feel.
A suggested programme
Day 1 is the first hotel night in Japan. An overnight international flight may leave the previous day. Adjust outings for opening days, weather and your own pace.
Settle into Takanawa and keep the first evening local.
Enjoy the garden, then choose one compact Tokyo neighbourhood.
Use the rail network for a gallery, shopping street or food-focused outing.
Return to a favourite area and leave time at the hotel.
Travel from Haneda to Fukuoka; settle in before an evening meal.
Build a walking day around the city’s food and shopping districts.
Stay local or investigate Dazaifu, checking the complete connection.
Treat the airport-to-Kobe transfer as part of the travel day.
Explore the harbour and take time for an evening view.
Wander Kitano or choose a museum and a good lunch.
Compare rail and bus access; keep a full Kobe day as the easy alternative.
Return from UKB to Haneda, then settle into the final city hotel.
Walk an area near the hotel and plan a special dinner if it appeals.
Leave space for a last gallery, shopping or a return to a favourite café.
Transfer to the terminal shown on your current international ticket.

These are route notes, not confirmed departures. Recheck the complete connection, including the walk, bus or taxi at each end.

Domestic flight, followed by local airport transport.
Fly to ITM, then continue by airport bus or a checked rail connection to Kobe.
